PURPOSE: An image process method of a settop box for minimizing harmful causes by watching TV is provided to increase intimacy sense of the family by transmitting image data by collecting an everyday affair as the image data. CONSTITUTION: A control unit determines the contentment of image collecting conditions(S305, S307). The control unit outputs control signal for an image signal collection through a camera interface unit. The control unit stores the collected video signal(S309). If an image synthesis request is received, the control unit synthesizes the image of the channel data and the stored image data. The controller transmits target image data(S317).
