<p>PURPOSE: A resin-impregnated base material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture the material without using a halogen-type solvent, and to secure the good condition of the outer appearance with the low content of a resin composition. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a resin-impregnated base material comprises the following steps: dipping a sheet to an aromatic liquid crystal polyester composition to impregnate polyester to the sheet; and removing a solvent. The composition contains 20~50 parts of aromatic liquid crystal polyester by weight, and 100 parts of aprotic solvent by weight without a halogen atom. The sheet is selected from the group consisting of a polyolefin resin fiber, a fluorocarbon resin fiber, an aramid resin fiber, a glass fiber, a ceramic fiber, and a carbon fiber.</p> |
