PURPOSE: A water pollutant removal apparatus is provided to improve the processing capability of the installment area of the apparatus by arranging filter cartridges on multiple sides. CONSTITUTION: A water pollutant removal apparatus comprises the following: a filtering cartridge(11) in which the lower side thereof is sealed with a shielding film, and the upper side thereof is filled with a porous filtering material; a housing(10) including a settling tank(18) for pollutants and the filtering cartridge; an inlet pipe(15) connecting the settling tank to the outside; an outlet pipe(16) extended from the shielding film to guide processing water treated by the filtering cartridge to a water base; a backwashing water pump supplying backwashing water to piping(20) connected to the inside of the filtering cartridge; and an overflow pipe(19).
