PURPOSE: A composition for heavy metal adsorption, containing exobiopolymer secreted from Pseudomonas fluorescens BM07 is provided to ensure bioadsorption ability to heavy metal including cadmium and mercury. CONSTITUTION: A composition for heavy metal adsorption contains an inactivated strain of Pseudomonas fluorescens BM07 or exobiopolymer secreted from the strain. The heavy metal includes hydrargyrum, zinc, selenium, tellurium, cesium, copper, lead, nickel, manganese, cobalt or chrome. A method for removing heavy metal using the composition comprises: a step of adding the composition to polluted site; and a step of collecting precipitated heavy metal.
