The disclosure relates to a polymorphic form (I), thermodynamically stable at room temperature, of the tosylate salt of 4-{4-[({[4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]amino}carbonyl)amino]phenoxy}-N-methylpyridine-2-carboxamide represented by formula (I), wherein the polymorph (I) which shows X-ray diffractometry peak maxima at the 2 theta angles of 4.4, 14.8 and 20.5. The disclosure also relates to processes for its preparation, to medicaments comprising it and to its use in the control of disorders.
