PURPOSE: A lithium transition metal polyacid compound is provided to ensure high mechanical and chemical stability and to suppress impurity generation. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing anion-deficient non-stoichiometric lithium transition metal polyacid comprises: a step of mixing Fe precursor compound, polyacid comound containing one or more atom A selected from a group consisting of atoms having four coordinated structure, alkalizing agents, and lithium precursor for generating lithium transition metal polyacid compound precursor; a step of reacting the compound precursor with water at 200-700 °C and 180~550 bar to form non-stoichiometric lithium transition metal polyacid compound and drying; and a step of calcinating or granulating before calcinating.
