PURPOSE: A blower motor control device of an air-conditioner for a vehicle and a control method therefor are provided to shutting excess current generated while a feedback line is short circuited with a simple configuration. CONSTITUTION: A blower motor control device of an air-conditioner for a vehicle comprise a controller(110) which outputs a control signal for controlling the speed of a blower motor with comparing a target voltage value and a voltage by getting feedback the voltage flowing in the blower motor and shuts power supplied to the blower motor by turning off a blower relay if the feedback voltage is 0V, a driver module(120) which controls a voltage applied to the blower motor according to the control signal outputted from the controller, and a feedback line(140) which is connected to the controller so that the voltage supplied to the blower motor is feedbacked by being branched in an interval of the blower motor and the driver module. If the controller shuts the power of the blower motor, the abnormality of the blower is informed to the outside.
