PURPOSE: Polyester fiber with good anti-ultraviolet and fire retardancy and a manufacturing method thererof are provided to improve applicability of the polyester fiber in various fields such as clothes, car interior materials etc. CONSTITUTION: Polyester fiber with good anti-ultraviolet comprises a core portion and a sheath portion. The core portion is formed with polyester-based resin containing inorganic compounds blocking ultraviolet rays. The sheath portion is formed with polyester-based resin containing phosphate flame retardant. The inorganic compound is zinc oxide, titanium oxide, or a compound of zinc oxide and titanium oxide.
