Sulfo-aluminous clinker comprises: 5-25% of calcium aluminoferrite phase composition; 15-35% of optionally iron doped calcium sulfoaluminate phase; 10-35% of belite containing at least 5% of polymorphic belite; and 10-25% of boron doped calcium silicate, as a phase composition. Sulfo-aluminous clinker comprises: 5-25% of composition of calcium aluminoferrite phase having structure of formula (C1 2A xF1 (1-x)); 15-35% of optionally iron doped calcium sulfoaluminate phase having structure of formula (C1 4A (3-y)S2F1 y); 10-35% of belite having structure of formula (C1 2S1) containing at least 5% of polymorphic belite; and 10-25% of boron doped calcium silicate having structure of formula (C1 11S1 4B), as a phase composition. C1 : CaO; A : Al 2O 3; F1 : Fe 2O 3; S1 : SiO 2; S2 : SO 3; x : 0.2-0.8; and y : 0-0.5. An independent claim is included for preparing the sulfo-aluminous clinker comprising preparing a raw mixture by dosing raw materials for providing the quantities of elements necessary to obtain the desired composition phase, mixing the raw materials, baking the mixture of raw materials at 1250-1350[deg] C, and cooling the clinker rapidly.
