The pipe (6) carrying the heat-exchange fluid has a horseshoe- or D-shaped cross-section, with the flat side in contact with the baseplate (2). The baseplate may consist of a light-alloy or gypsum cardboard perforated plate (3) with its inner side covered with a layer of fleece material in the areas (15) between the straight sections (7) of the pipe. The pipe is made of copper, and its straight sections are connected by gentle 180 degree bends (8). The ends of the pipe are bent upward (9) to connect with a heating or cooling system in the ceiling. The straight sections of the pipe are covered by straight strips (10,10a) of heat-conducting foil which extend out some way to each side. The undersides of the foil are colored black. The foil may be made of iron, aluminum or copper.
|
