METHOD FOR QUANTIFYING CAMPESTEROL OF SOYBEAN USING NIR

PURPOSE: A method for quantifying campesterol of soybean using NIRL is provided to usefully use for developing a material for a high quality resource, breeding or industry by rapidly searching vegetable sterol content per unit weight of soybean. CONSTITUTION: A method for quantifying campesterol of soybean using NIRL is as follows. A soybean seed classified based on the species is added to a test tube in a powdered state and is inserted into a NIRL(near infrared light) analyzer. The NIRL is radiated and an absorption spectrum of 1700 to 2100nm is obtained. A first differentiation is applied to the near-infrared spectrum. A first derivative value is obtained where gap per wave has 10nm. The campesterol content in the soybean sample is determined using the first derivative value per wave.
