A container for transporting or storing thin fragile items like glass sheets, with the container comprising of an enclosure and a securing arrangement 11 that holds the thin fragile items to be transported or stored in an upright position. The securing arrangement 11 is an upright restraint that can be moved across the width of the container. Items can be placed into or removed from the container through its open top. Access into the container is through movable side panels 5 or at it's open end.
