<p>The invention relates to an equipment for treating severe acute peritonitis by the actively controlled intraperitoneal method which carries out the removal of the pus and necrotic material accumulated into the peritoneal cavity. According to the invention, the equipment comprises some catheters (1, 2 and 3, 4) meant to be inserted into the peritoneum for the instillation of antibiotic and antiseptic solutions and, for the absorbtion and removal outside the organism of peritoneal liquids, respectively, some peristaltic non-invasive electric pumps (5,6 and 7,8) for the introduction of the solutions into the peritoneum and for the absorbtion and removal of the liquids from the peritoneum, respectively, linked to the catheters (1,2 and 3,4) by means of some hoses (24, 25, 26 and 27), some transducers (9, 10 and 11, 12) for measuring intraperitoneal pressure while the solutions are introduced into peritoneum and removed outside the peritoneum, respectively, some electronic pressure switches (13 and 14) for measuring and regulating the pressure of the solutions instilled and of the liquids absorbed into the peritoneum, respectively, some tanks (15 and 16) wherein the solutions for peritoneal lavage are introduced, some containers (17 and 18) wherein the liquids in the peritoneum are sucked out, some electric resistors (19 and 20) for heating the solutions to be introduced into the peritoneum, some electronic temperature switches (21 and 22) for the thermal regulation of the temperature of the solution and an electric supply (23) of direct current of 12V.</p> |
