#CMT# #/CMT# The apparatus has a plastic collar directly enclosing an inner pipe (3) of a pole. A clamping lever includes a lever arm (9), which partially encloses the collar when the apparatus is in a closed state. The lever includes a roll-off region (8), which is eccentric with respect to a rotational axis (7). A distance between an adjustable screw or knurled screw (12) and a counter surface (19) is reduced by pivoting the lever into a closed position, using the region. The counter surface is designed in the form of a metal collar (16), which is partially arranged in a projection (13) in a recess (18). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Clamping apparatus for fixing relative position of an inner pipe of a pole e.g. hiking pole, trekking pole, Nordic walking pole and skiing pole i.e. cross-country skiing pole (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The apparatus exhibits a simple structure and high clamping force for turn-over of the clamping lever.
