PURPOSE: It adaptive by watching buffer or the error state of the ethernet switch and adjusting the frequency of the reference clock as the width making a note the clock synchronization control device appropriately can control the clock frequency according to situation. CONSTITUTION: An OLT(Optical Line Termination) comprises the ethernet switch, and the clock synchronization control part and PLL(208). The clock synchronization control part(204) offers the reference clock frequency. The ONU(Optical Network Unit)/ONT(Optical Network Termination) comprises the Ethernet switch and clock restoration unit(214). Controller watches the state of the ethernet switches. According to the controller(209) is the monitoring result, in order to control the clock synchronization control part and the reference clock frequency is adjusted it acts.
