<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method of a software keyboard and portable information terminal device for easily suppressing an input error in the software keyboard. <P>SOLUTION: When a Japanese input mode based on Roman character input is selected (Yes, in step S1), a portable information terminal device 10 displays a software keyboard 20 configured of alphabetic character keys on a display part 18, and the input of those keys is accepted. Then, the portable information terminal device 10 executes at least a step S2 for reading a key input rule table; a step S5 for determining whether the next input candidate keys are present in the key input rule table; a step S7 for, when the next input candidate keys are present (Yes, in step S6), setting the input of the next input candidate keys so as to be acceptable, and for setting the input of any key other than the next input candidate keys so as not to be acceptable; and a step S8 for displaying the next input candidate keys on a display part 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
