PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when updating a function of FPGA, in a conventional network relaying apparatus, since it is necessary to power off an FPGA mount board and to perform board re-activation, communication interruption or band shrinkage of relay performance may occur. SOLUTION: A bus holder is mounted between an FPGA as a function update target and a bus-connected device and during FPGA function updating, each device and the FPGA are electrically disconnected.
