<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emboss carrier tape capable of dispensing with any cover tape for covering a storage recess, and smoothly opening/closing the storage recess. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The emboss carrier tape comprises a tape body 1 in which a large number of storage recesses 14 arranged with the predetermined spacing in the longitudinal direction to store workpieces are formed by the embossing, and strip-like fold-back parts 22 provided on both edges of the tape body 1 in an extending and foldable manner. The fold-back parts 22 are wide enough to close the entire or a part of an opening part in the storage recess 14 and hold each workpiece 12 in each storage recess 14.
