<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kitchen system enabling efficient shutting-off around the periphery of a heating cooker generating large load with smaller electric power consumption while shortening the overall length of the device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The kitchen system includes: a kitchen counter positioned between a living space and a kitchen space and having the heating cooker on the upper face; an exhaust device provided above the heating cooker and having an exhaust port; and a discharge port provided on a wall face extended between the living space and the kitchen space and located on the side near to the heating cooker and discharges gas forming an air curtain partitioning the living space and the kitchen space over the approximately overall length in the height direction at least between the installation height of the exhaust port and the installation height of the heating cooker on the front side of the heating cooker when viewed from the side where a cooking person stands.
