PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy wire rod which has excellent bending fatigue resistance. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy wire rod is a wire rod which has a composition containing, by mass, 0.1 to 0.4% Fe, 0.1 to 0.3% Cu, 0.02 to 0.2% Mg and 0.02 to 0.2% Si, and further Ti and V by 0.001 to 0.01% in total, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, and is used by being mounted on a moving car body, wherein the crystal grain size in the vertical cross-section in the wire drawing direction is 5 to 25 μm, and a fatigue life when repeated fatigue of strain amplitude±0.15% at ordinary temperature is applied is ≥50,000 number of times.
