PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately carry out date management of walk data by using a pedometer of a simple configuration without a calendar function. SOLUTION: The pedometer without a calendar function saves walk data measured for one day and then transmits the same to a host device. A processing unit 408 of the host device receives the walk data and the time of pedometer connection to the host device from the pedometer via the first communication unit 401 to store the same in a walk data storage 406 and a connection time storage 405, respectively. The pedometer determines a reference date of the walk data to manage the date of the walk data on the basis of the connection time, the save time stored in a pedometer walk data save time storage 407, and processing time when the processing unit 408 determines the reference date of the walk data.
