Disclosed is a controller of a vehicle having a plurality of superchargers wherein seizing of a changeover valve for realizing a plurality of supercharge modes is detected efficiently, and suitable failsafe is achieved when seizing is detected. A vehicle comprises exhaust-driven primary turbo (300) and secondary turbo (400), an exhaust changeover valve (210) and an intake changeover valve (216) installed, respectively, in a secondary exhaust passage (209) and a secondary intake passage (215) corresponding to the secondary turbo (400), and an intake bypass valve (218) installed in an intake bypass passage (217), wherein an ECU (100) brings the open/close state of each changeover valve into an open/close state corresponding to a twin turbo mode when an engine stops and, at the same time, detects seizing of a changeover valve by utilizing drive control of each changeover valve which takes place inevitably when a transition is made to a single turbo mode at the time of starting an engine. |
