PURPOSE: An iridium organometallic complex for phosphorescent material is provided to be applied to an organic electroluminescent device showing high luminescence efficiency and low power consumption in high brightness. CONSTITUTION: An iridium organometallic complex for phosphorescent material is marked as a chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, a core metal is the iridium and two phenylpyridines are used as a main ligand. In the chemical formula 1, 1,4-bis(5'-2',2"-bipyridine)benzene is used as a secondary ligand. In the chemical formula 1, R1-R4 are substituent of the phenylpyridine and are electron donating group or electron withdrawing group.
