Biogas plant service device (20) and biogas plant provided therewith with a service shaft (11) for biogas plants (50) comprising a fermentation tank (21) with a tank wall (12), a fermentation tank interior and a tank cover covering the fermentation tank interior (22). The service shaft has a service opening (10) in order to be able to carry out the assembly, disassembly and maintenance of plant, such as, for example, a stirrer (9). The service shaft is arranged on a tank roof covering the fermenter tank interior in a manner which seals the tank roof. An assembly rod (9a) is provided extending into the fermentation mass in the fermentation tank interior from the service shaft and at a distance from the tank wall (12). The service shaft is fixed to a support frame (2) which has a support section (2a), with fixing means (1) provided on the support section by means of which the support section can be aligned and fixed outside the fermentation tank interior.
