<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method suitable for selecting a configuration of an in-vehicle audio system. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a step of generating an acoustic signal from at least one loudspeaker arranged at potential positions for loudspeakers in a vehicle, a step of recording a transfer function on the generated acoustic signal at a plurality of listening positions in the vehicle, a step of determining a potential configuration of an in-vehicle audio system, a step of correcting the transfer function based on the potential configuration in order to generate a predicted transfer function, a step of statistically analyzing the predicted transfer function at a plurality of listening positions in the vehicle over at least one frequency, and a step of selecting a configuration based on the statistical analysis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
