PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image evaluation method for properly evaluating image information.

SOLUTION: The image evaluation method includes steps of: individually evaluating the acquired image information with one item selected from a plurality of items as a predetermined item to obtain an individual evaluation; individually evaluating the acquired image information with another item as another predetermined item to obtain another individual evaluation; obtaining a comprehensive evaluation by use of a Gaussian function based on the individual evaluation and the other individual evaluation; and adding the individual evaluation, the other evaluation, and the comprehensive evaluation to the acquired image information.
