VIDEO SIGNAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND MULTI-WAVELENGTH E/O CONVERTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video signal transmission system capable of transmitting corresponding video optical signals to sides of a plurality of video display device without monitoring transmission states of the plurality of video optical signals of different wavelengths to be transmitted, and a multi-wavelength E/O converter.

SOLUTION: The video signal transmission system is provided with: video source side communication equipment 1 having one or a plurality of multi-wavelength E/O converters 31 to 33 which can convert input video electric signals into a plurality of video optical signals of different wavelengths on the basis of the selection information of the video display devices 91 to 93 to which the video electric signals are transmitted; an optical transmission path 6 one end of which is connected to the video source side communication equipment and transmits the plurality of video optical signals with different wavelengths; and a plurality of optical demultiplexers 51 to 53 provided in a route of the optical transmission path to demultiplex the plurality of video optical signals with different wavelengths and output the plurality of video optical signals to sides of the video display devices 91 to 93 corresponding to the selection information.
