PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct deformation and wave-like surfaces of a lens array caused in a manufacturing process.

SOLUTION: The lens array where a plurality of lens elements are aligned so as to form a line extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the optical axes thereof, is provided with a rib extending in a direction parallel to the direction in which the lens elements are aligned and projecting on the incidence surface side and exit surface side of the lens elements, in a direction parallel to the optical axes of the lens elements, and a lens unit includes the lens array where a plurality of lens elements are aligned so as to form a line extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the optical axes and a light shielding member where a plurality of diaphragms are aligned so as to extend in a direction substantially perpendicular to the optical axes. The lens array includes an engagement portion for engaging with the light shielding member. The light shielding member icludes a correcting portion for engaging with the engagement portion, thereby correcting deformation of the lens array.
