<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder conveying device that improves both agitating capability and conveying capability, and that uses the configuration for an agitating conveyance member. <P>SOLUTION: The powder conveying device (developing device) has a plurality of conveying members 56a and 56b having conveying capability in a lengthwise direction. The plurality of conveying members are arranged substantially in parallel one above the other. The powder conveying device has a container 53 accommodating the plurality of conveying members and forming one conveying path. The conveying directions of the conveying members are the same in the lengthwise direction. Spaces between the plurality of conveying members communicate in a half or larger area relative to the conveying members in the lengthwise direction. A notch is formed in part of the lower conveying member 56b of the plurality of conveying members. A partition member 53a (62a) intersecting the lower conveying member at a right angle is provided, and the positions of the notch and partition member 53a match with each other, enabling powder (developer) to be conveyed while mixed and agitated between the conveying members. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
