<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method and apparatus for waste plastic efficiently recovering olefinic plastic from waste plastic with high recovery rate. <P>SOLUTION: In the recovery method of waste plastic wherein aqueous dispersion formed by dispersing mixed crushed particles of waste plastic in an aqueous solution is prepared, light particles containing olefinic plastic are separated from the mixed crushed particles of the aqueous dispersion by supplying the aqueous dispersion to a liquid cyclone, and the light particles are recovered from an upper discharge pipe of the cyclone, the aqueous dispersion is prepared in which the mixed crushed particles with particle sizes of 30 mm or less subjected to surface cleaning while being in contact with the aqueous solution are dispersed with solid matter concentration of 2.0 wt.% or less, and the aqueous solution is separated by the liquid cyclone with pressure loss of 0.05-0.3 MPa, and a flow ratio of a discharge flow rate of the upper discharge pipe to the supply flow rate of 50-90%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
