<p>The means of structuring the application of the impact-protection cushion is as shown in Figures 1, 2, 3 and 4, wherein the invention protects the fruit from the pressure exerted on it or from the friction that arises when the box is subjected to movements primarily during transportation. The tubular filaments (Figure 1) being joined under pressure expand in the form of a net or mesh (Figure 2) forming cells in their internal structure (Figure 3), and thus creating a favourable shape for the fruit, which in the absence of sharp or cutting contact surfaces protects the fruit from the friction caused to it with the movement of the box during transportation and storage. The adherence of the layer(s) or sheet(s) or Film(s) (Figure 4), further dampens the impacts to which the box is subjected during its transportation and storage, thus protecting the fruit from compression stresses. Furthermore, as it has the form of a mesh or net (Figure 2), ventilation inside the box is improved, allowing the cold air from the cooling system in the storerooms to circulate more easily and quickly inside the box.</p> |
