<p>A surge arrester (20; 30) is provided. The surge arrester comprises: a resistor body (21; 31), including a ceramic core (211; 311) and a conductive film (212; 312), the conductive film (212; 312) being deposited to enclose the ceramic core (211; 311) entirely; two caps (23; 33), each enclosing one end of the resistor body (21; 31); an opening (24; 34), being cut in the middle part of the resistor body (21; 31) to separate the surface of the resistor body (21; 31) into two portions; a porous layer (25; 35), filled in the opening (24; 34); and an insulating layer (26; 36), being coated to protect the porous layer (25; 35) and the resister body (21; 31).</p> |
