<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liner for unvulcanized rubber members which ensures the tackiness of the unvulcanized rubber members and has excellent durability. <P>SOLUTION: The liner 10 for unvulcanized rubber members is a plain weave fabric in which the weft 14 is a split yarn formed from a resin film, the split yarn having a smooth surface and a fiber diameter of 1,000-1,330 dtex. As the warp 12 is a multifilament yarn that is linear and thin. Since the weft 14 is the split yarn having a smooth surface, the surface of an unvulcanized rubber member 16 which has come into contact with the weft 14 gets smooth. Meanwhile, the multifilament yarn as the warp 12 has a minimum area of contact with the unvulcanized rubber member 16. Consequently, as compared with the case where liners constituted of a conventional plain weave fabric are used, the surface of the unvulcanized rubber member is wholly smoothed and, hence, the liner has satisfactory release properties and can keep the tackiness of the unvulcanized rubber member satisfactory.
