<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device in which sliding torque acting between a keylock collar and a steering shaft is easily set to a prescribed value. <P>SOLUTION: On an inner peripheral face 71 of the keylock collar 7, a non-contact part is formed that is not in contact with a diameter reduced part 32 of the steering shaft 3. Namely, an elastic contact face is configured in which only the range of both end lengths L3, L4 in the axial direction of the inner peripheral face 71 of the keylock collar 7 is elastically deformed and in contact with an outer peripheral face 31 of the steering shaft 3. Therefore, even when there is an error of a curve of the steering shaft 3 and the outer peripheral face 31 and the inner peripheral face 71 of the keylock collar 7, or the dimension of diameters of the outer peripheral face 31 and the inner peripheral face 71, fluctuation of the sliding torque acting between the inner peripheral face 71 of the keylock collar 7 and the outer peripheral face 31 of the steering shaft 3 becomes small, and stable sliding torque of a prescribed value is easily obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
