<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering locking device capable of unlocking a lock member by relatively small unlocking force, attaining miniaturization of a drive mechanism of the lock member and reducing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The steering locking device has the lock member 5 biased in a direction of a steering shaft by a lock spring 50 and engageable with an engagement projection 20 of the steering shaft 2; and a retaining member 6 for retaining the lock member 5 in locking. An inclination surface 53 for receiving rotation force of the steering shaft 2 is provided on a distal end of the lock member 5, the rotation force is received by the inclination surface 53, and the lock member 5 is biased in an unlocking direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
