PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even a child to surely open a door only in an emergency without causing a false operation or a mischief. SOLUTION: A latch retainer 50, which is provided in a door frame 10 and on which a latch 40 provided in the door 20 abuts to regulate the door 20 to move in the out-of-plane direction with respect to the door frame 10, includes a base material section 51 held with the door frame 10 and an abutting section 52 abutting on the latch 40 when the door 20 is closed. The abutting section 52 and the base material section 51 are individually constituted and are connected to each other by an engaging means 60. When an external force exceeding a preset value is applied, the abutting section 52 is disconnected from the base material section 51 by releasing the connected state brought about by the engaging means 60.
