GLASS COMPOSITION AND MEMBER HAVING THE SAME ON SUBSTRATE

Provided is a glass composition which has a high refractive index, low-temperature softening properties and a low thermal expansion coefficient, and a member which has said composition on a substrate. The glass composition is characterized in having a refractive index (nd) of 1.88-2.20, a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 450-490°C, and an average thermal expansion coefficient (a50-300) of 60 × 10-7/K to 90 × 10-7/K at 50-300°C. The content of Bi2O3 content is 5-25%, represented in mol% based on oxide.
