The device has a flow rate-switching valve (3) i.e. motor-two- or three way valve, provided in an inert gas supply line (6) and positioned in an area of a supply station to produce different flow rates at a time factor or depending on pressure. A flow rate regulator (4) is provided in the inert gas supply line for determining the flow rate. Post-flooding over the valve is activated by a programmable switch logic (8) after a time program and/or by a pressure sensor (12). A motor-gate valve is provided in an inert gas-distribution line (7).
