<p>A signalling processing apparatus detects a fault on a connected link. This signalling processing apparatus is provided with a message transmission section of layer 2 that, if an opposing signalling processing apparatus reports a link release processing request, and a response to this link release processing request is then received, reports to a message transmission section of layer 3 a signal indicating completion of stoppage (release) of the link that was previously connected. The signalling processing apparatus is also provided with a message transmission section of layer 3 that, if a report of a signal indicating completion of stoppage (release) of the aforementioned link is received, executes recovery processing of the unrecovered received signal stored in the message transmission section of layer 2.</p> |
