PURPOSE: A method for managing an image using a thumbnail in a digital living network alliance system and a system thereof are provided to shorten display time of a thumbnail. CONSTITUTION: A digital media server(10) transmits a thumbnail group image and an index. A digital media player(30) receives the thumbnail group image and index from the digital media server. The digital media player displays the thumbnail group image. If one is selected among thumbnails included in the thumbnail group image, the digital media player requests an original image file corresponding to the selected thumbnail to the digital media server. |
