<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side airbag for an automobile capable of suitably protecting an occupant. <P>SOLUTION: This side airbag has a first deploying part 60 projectingly forming a chamber wall for partitioning a plurality of chambers between the chambers divided into the plurality, curvedly forming the respective camber walls in the same direction as the advancing direction of inflating gas jetted from an inflator and successively formed toward a rear seat from the driver's seat side, a driver's seat side airbag part having a second deploying part 65 and a dead zone deploying part 70, and a rear seat side airbag part projectingly forming the chamber wall for partitioning the plurality of chambers between the chambers divided into the plurality, curvedly forming the respective chamber walls in the same direction as the advancing direction of the inflating gas jetted from the inflator and having a fourth deploying part 75, a fifth deploying part 80 and a sixth deploying part 85 successively formed on the rear seat side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
