<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance/exit management system using a card reader radio terminal, which enables passage of persons through a gate using a primary authentication with only ID checking and a secondary authentication with full data for authentication, including a large-sized facial portrait in combination so as to handle the authentication process depending on circumstances whether the number of persons entering/exiting is large or small. <P>SOLUTION: The radio terminal 10 reads an IC card, and refers to individual information on the basis of IC card identification information read into an entrance/exit management server 30 via a wireless LAN-AP 20 and a LAN 40. According to this reference, the result of the presence or absence of the individual information corresponding to the IC card identification information is returned to the entrance/exit management server 30. The entrance/exit management server 30 sends an entrance/exit request on the IC card to a controller 50 via the wireless LAN-AP 20, a LAN/serial converter 61, a serial/LON converter 62 and a fixed installation-type IC card reader 63 on the basis of the same protocol as a protocol applied to the fixed card reader 63 by the controller 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
