PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact shake correction mechanism by providing a diaphragm and a shutter in a shake correction lens group, and effectively using space in the lens group and to provide an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: A second lens holding member 4 is arranged at the rear of a base member 5 in an optical axis direction, and a first lens holding member 2 is arranged in front of the base member 5 in the optical axis direction. The first lens holding member 2 and the second lens holding member 4 are coupled to pierce through the base member 5 while holding the base member 5 in between.
