<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure cylinder disassemblable while securing fastening force of a piston to a piston rod. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fluid pressure cylinder includes a piston unit 2 dividing the inside of a cylinder tube 1 and freely slidably movable in the cylinder tube 1, and the piston rod 3 fixed at an end to the piston unit 2 and having the other end projecting out of the cylinder tube 1. The piston unit 2 is inserted in a small-diameter part 3b of the piston rod 3 and fixed with an end face 2d abutted on a shoulder face 3c of the piston rod 3. A roung part 20 is formed in an annularly dented manner in an outer periphery of a base end of the small-diameter part 3b of the piston rod 3. A tapered part 23 is formed in an inner periphery of the piston unit 2 from the end face 2d correspondingly to a dented part 22 formed in a dented manner in the small-diameter part 3b. A length of the tapered part 23 in an axial direction of the piston unit is equal to or longer than a length of the dented part 22 in the axial direction of the piston unit.
