<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slide and push switch capable of attaining miniaturization and thinning without having malfunction and attaining suitable operating feeling at the time of a push operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sway slider 170 capable of slidably moving on a base section 113 in an X direction is housed in a switch body 130 having the base section 113 for retaining a fixed terminal 162 for pushing. A push member 140 which is movable in a Y direction while a knob 142 is externally extended from an opening 132 for slide of the switch body 130 is retained on the sway slider 170. A slider 180 moves along an upper surface of a dome contact 164 by means of pushing of the push member 140, and a deformed tongue section 182 comes in contact with the fixed terminal 162 for pushing by reversing the dome contact 164.
