<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversation supplemental device for disabled persons, which is superior in accuracy and reliability in transmission of information, enables a disabled person such as a speech-disabled person, a visually-impaired person, and a hearing-impaired person to have a smooth conversation on the spot with each other or with a physically unimpaired person without conducting special training or the like, and which is excellent in versatility, usability and which is compact and excellent in portability and mass-productivity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The conversation supplemental device for disabled persons includes: a Morse code input section; a storage medium mounting section whereon a storage medium storing audio files encoded in various systems such as an MP3 system and a WAV system is removably mounted; a speech reproduction circuit which reads, from the storage medium mounted on the storage medium mounting section, any one of the audio files of characters, words, and sentences corresponding to the Morse code inputted from the Morse code input section, and reproduces the file; a speech output section outputting the speech reproduced by the speech reproduction circuit; a data conversion section converting the audio data in the audio file reproduced by the speech reproduction circuit into character data; and a display section displaying the character data converted by the data conversion section.
