The present invention provides a method for recovering (meth)acrylic acid ester, comprising the steps of: (a) obtaining a (meth)acrylic acid ester through a reaction between the ester of an alcohol and a (meth)acrylic acid in the presence of a catalyst, wherein by-products are produced together with the (meth)acrylic acid ester; and (b) obtaining (meth)acrylic acid, alcohol and (meth)acrylic acid ester as recovered materials by reacting the by-products produced in step (a) with a catalyst and water in a reaction vessel, wherein the content of the water supplied into the reaction vessel is more than 0 and less than 10 wt.% of the total weight of the reactants, which are the by-products, catalyst and water, and then recovering the (meth)acrylic acid, the alcohol and the (meth)acrylic acid ester contained in the by-products by isolation from the by-products.
