Provided are a system and a device for converting input current signals into two or more output voltage signals on an integrated circuit. On one side, the integrated circuit is provided with a first transimpedance amplifier that comprises a first cascode amplifier, and a second transimpedance amplifier that comprises a second cascode amplifier. The second cascode amplifier and the first cascode amplifier share an input transistor element. The first cascode amplifier is connected to one or more first switches that put the first transimpedance amplifier in a non-operating state. The second cascode amplifier is connected to one or more second switches that put the second transimpedance amplifier in a non-operating state. The control logic that is connected to the one or more first switches and the one or more second switches puts at least the first transimpedance amplifier or the second transimpedance amplifier in a non-operating state.
