<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser drive device capable of satisfactorily suppressing the occurrence of noise, such as unwanted emission, by input or the like of unneeded codes and expressing a write strategy under the management of timing. <P>SOLUTION: The laser drive device 10 includes: a code input means 11 for input of codes to designate power values for controlling drive of an optical pickup 52 including an radiation means 40 for radiating a laser beam with a designated power value; a power changing means 12 for changing the power value of laser beams radiated by the radiation means 40 to that designated by the code according to code input; and a switching means 13 for switching a plurality of codes to designate power values, while the plurality of codes for designating at least one power value exist. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
