PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microbiological test system capable of being constructed easily and inexpensively, and enabling the verification and ascertainment of the presence or absence of falsification of data, and the inspection results to provide transparency and objectivity of the inspection results. SOLUTION: The microbiological test system includes a first stage 11 on which a sample W is put, a first picture-taking device 13 having an enlarging optical system 12 and for taking the image by enlarging a part of the sample W, a second picture-taking device 15 having a picture-taking optical system 14 and for taking the picture of an external image, and an image-signal switching device 21 into which an enlarged image signal 18 and an external image signal 19 are parallelly inputted, and from which any one of the image signals is outputted by selecting them. The first stage 11 and the first picture-taking device 13 are installed so as to be relatively scanned stepwise, and the microbiological test system is constituted so that the image-signal switching device 21 may select and output the external image signal 19 when the image-signal switching device 21 is under the stepwise scanning, and in abeyance, the image-signal switching device 21 may select and output the enlarged image signal 18 outputted from the first picture-taking device 13.
